Plot

Nancy faces a bitter foe in pursuit of a venomous villain.

A winter vaction in Wisconsin promises plenty of of skiing, skating, and snowmobiling. But soon after their arrival at the Butter Ridge ski resort, Nancy, Bess, and George find that a different kind of sport comes first- and it's an exercise in fear. Wickford Castle, the main lodge, is full of spine-tingling surprises and strange secrets!

Originally from France and rebuilt in Wisconsin, the castle holds a mystery over two centuries old- rumor of a hidden treasure. Seeking the haunting truth, Nancy is drawn into a maze of concealed corridors, dead-end doorways, and shadowy staircases. She quickly learns that whether or not the treasure exists, the dangers are definitely real!

Adventure Game

The Her Interactive game based off of the book was released on July 24, 2001. The plot is simular to the plot of the book, except that Bess and George aren't at the resort with Nancy.

On November 10, 2010, the Nancy Drew Collector's Edition was released, containing Treasure In The Royal Tower, The Secret of Shadow Ranch, and The Curse of Blackmoor Manor. All three games were voted for by fans.
